Tile cutter stainless steel, square 22,8 cm

Tile cutters are an excellent tool for cutting out symmetrical shapes from ceramic slabs that the potter has made using a manual roller or, even better, a slab roller. They are an indispensable tool for modelling slabs and also for workshops where the lector prepares semi-finished products for the participants. They can be successfully used for working with ceramic clay and other materials with similar properties.

Tile cutters are robustly constructed with a system that prevents the extrusion board from jamming on the edge of tile cutter. Our extruders are made from high quality stainless steel, while the extrusion board is made from hardened plastic. Stainless steel was chosen for its advantageous properties. Thanks to its strength, the walls are narrow (only 0.9 mm!), which minimises the deformation of the cut-out during the actual work. At the same time, all parts of the cutter are corrosion-resistant and easy to clean.

The final size of the cut-out after firing depends on the material used and its shrinkage during drying and firing in the kiln. We offer different shapes with different dimensions, and the dimensions of our cutters take into account normal shrinkage. For example, a square with an internal dimension of 11,4 x 11,4 cm will have a dimension of approximately 10 x 10 cm after firing (depending on the exact shrinkage of the material). The maximum height of the cut-out sheet is approximately 18 mm.
